Wyebrook Farm’s 1st Pig Roast Saturday September 17th

Join Wyebrook Farm for their first ever Pig Roast on Saturday, September 17th

Get excited—and get hungry! Chester County’s newest farm, Wyebrook, is hosting their first pig roast this Saturday.

Wyebrook is a new eco-friendly and sustainable 355-acre farm located 45 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. Formerly a bond trader, Wyebrook Farm owner Dean Carlson finds his chief passion in grassroots agriculture. Carlson’s mission is to give his community a personal connection to their food. All of Carlson’s livestock are free range, fed a grass-based diet, and kept both hormone and antibiotic-free.

At Saturday’s roast, prepare to sample flavorful, lip-smacking pork from Wyebrook’s rare Ossabaw heritage hogs. Pork will be served with rolls and a savory side of baked beans. Butchers from New York’s famous LaFrieda Meat Purveyors will be stopping by with their massive, must-see Meat Box–once used to cook an 850 pound steer at the Meatopia festival in NYC.

Food from the pig roast will be complimentary, but remember that limited quantities of heritage pork cuts will be sold at the event. Be sure to arrive with an empty stomach!
