Queen Village’s popular local haunt, The Village Belle, will hand over the reigns to the good folks at Art in the Age Craft Spirits (AiTA) in the restaurant’s series ‘Behind Belle’s Bar’ on Thursday, December 8th. Village Belle will serve up drinks crafted by AiTA mixologists using their locally made line of popular spirits including ROOT, SNAP and RHUBY.
To pair with the cocktails, Village Belle Chef-Owner Lou Campanaro, will also create unique dishes inspired by the flavored spirits. Dishes are $7 and cocktails are $4.
Featured cocktails will include: Adult ROOT Beer Float with whipped cream vodka; Ginger SNAP Milkshake; and the Farmer’s Daughter with SNAP, hot apple cider, cinnamon and lemon juice.
The AiTA-inspired menu will include dishes such as: ROOT-glazed Short Ribs with parsnip puree and crispy parsnips; Butternut Squash Gnocchi with SNAP, brown butter, sage and pumpkin seeds; and Seared Sea Scallops with RHUBY-roasted carrots and fennel.
