From Sunday, March 20 through Friday, March 25 the vibrant river towns of New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ will host a restaurant week. 27 different restaurants will participate, and two menu options will be offered: a $29.95 prix-fixe dining menu and a $19.95 casual dining menu.
This is the second annual New Hope restaurant week, bolstered by the addition of Lambertville restaurants, like the famous Hamilton’s Grill Room of Coryell Street. Both towns offer famously fabulous dining. New Hope hot spot Havana will offer the casual dining menu, complimented by a variety of performers, ranging from American Idol contestant Bo Bice to an intimate acoustic guitar show with Adrian Legg.
And the killer food is just half the fun; New Hope and Lambertville are littered with beautiful buildings dating back to the American Revolution. The famous Karla’s—known to locals as the premier martini bar in Bucks County—will be offering savory courses, like the baked brie apricot glaze appetizer, set in the multi-level brick building built in the late 1700s. Lambertville Station will also participate, offering an inexpensive way for diners to experience a delicious meal in a richly historical setting, all while overlooking the scenic Delaware River.
March roars in like a lion, and this spring is no expection; New Hope & Lambertville Restaurant Week sponsor River Horse Brewing Company (based in Lambertville, NJ) likes to ring in the season with a bang, too, in the form of its delicious Summer Blonde and Farmhouse Saison flavors. Keep an eye out for special tappings during the event, and the usual carriers like Lambertville Station. The brewery also hosts tours all weekend, landing the self-guided Friday (12pm-5pm) tour & tasting at the conclusion of Restaurant Week.
