Five different tours are regularly offered year round. From cheesesteaks to craft beer, there’s something for everyone.
This delicious tour takes place in the heart of Philadelphia and includes five stops.
Make room, this is not just a tasting adventure, but truly a full meal that includes classic Philly eats like cheesesteaks and cheese whiz fries, tomato pie, soft pretzels, chocolate-covered hard pretzels, and Famous 4th Street Cookies.
Your foray into NoLibs will undoubtedly introduce you to new spots that will quickly become regular favorites. This adventure is served up with a generous helping of humor and a side of neighborhood history.
This tour will bring you to five great eateries, where you’ll taste bubble tea, a trio of rib-stickin’, iconic southern sides and fresh, handmade pasta and rosemary-studded foccacia (that stop also includes a pasta-making demonstration. Stops also include a retro-chic bowling alley for cooling brews and finally, an old-fashioned candy shop.
This two and a half hour tour pairs luscious cheeses, chocolates and gelato with knowledgeable makers who will eagerly share their expertise with you. Start with a cheese tasting that also includes the inside scoop on cheesemaking and how to select the best cheeses for your board.
Later, visit a popular European-inspired chocolate café for tasting and more edification. You’ll try so many pieces of chocolate at this stop that you’re sure to leave with a goody bag of the chocolate you didn’t finish during the tasting. Finally, visit the city’s most popular gelato shop for a chance to test your taste buds during a blind tasting of six different varieties of gelato and sorbetto.
Three courses at three different restaurants, all within an easy walk of one another (it’s like a progressive dinner where you never have to play host).
This tour includes generous tastes of three traditional Brazilian drinks (the Caipirinha, Xingu Beer, and a South American Merlot), an entrée at one of Rittenhouse Square’s best restaurants and, at the final location, French pastries and desserts.
This tour is led by a local food and beer pro, Eric Matzke (he’s also one of the co-owners of City Food Tours). Over the course of two hours, Eric will introduce you to eight craft beers (all brewed by one of our local microbreweries) and later will ply you with delicious cheeses (four hand-selected, artisanal cheeses).
Do note that this tour isn’t just for beer lovers. It’s actually a great way for the beer-curious to sample a variety of brews and find the right one for their taste buds.
