In honor of Center City District’s 20th anniversary, the organization released a special online cookbook called “Center City Cooks,” a compilation of recipes from Center City District Restaurant Week chefs, as part of this past fall’s edition of Restaurant Week.
Now CCD has announced the Winter Edition of Restaurant Week, and in conjunction, the latest edition of “Center City Cooks.”
The online cookbook has not only the recipes, but also personal tips from the chefs and from Philly Homegrown. You can print out the cookbook as a whole, by section or by individual recipe, or use it online.
This special winter supplement includes great recipes from Time, Barbuzzo, Le Bec-Fin, Liberte at the Sofitel and other Center City restaurants. Learn how to make Barbuzzo’s famed Salted Caramel Budino, or La galette des Rois as made in Le Bec-Fin’s kitchen.
The updated “Center City Cooks” is a palate-whetter for Winter Restaurant Week, set for January 22–27 and January 29 –February 3, 2012, during which you can relish three-course meals for $35 in 124 restaurants and three-course lunches for just $20 in 54 of these participating destinations.
In addition, CCD and Philly.com are running an awesome contest as part of the cookbook release; make one of the recipes from “Center City Cooks” and take a photo of it.
