May 5, Le Virtu will unveil its new outdoor dining and event space with quite the shin-dig. Think lavish, pig-roast, fancy-beer, wine-tasting extravaganza. Authentic Abbruzzese specialties will be served, complimenting the classic cooking style of the Abbruzzo region in Italy.
The inaugural event will last from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with delicious bites and beverages. First things first, the event costs $45 per person, and will be the first of several outdoor culinary celebrations taking place the first Thursday of each month during the summer and Fall.
At the Campo Launch, Chef Joe Cicala will serve an array of authentic Italian specialties: lamb skewers, house-made sausages, pancetta, arancini, roast pork sandwiches and brushchetta with house-made toppings, are among the diverse menu options.
To compliment the fare, season beer samplings will be offered from several breweries, including Pheonixville’s Sly Fox Brewery and Easton’s Weyerbacher Brewing Company. In addition, artisanal wine-tasting will be held.
