Albert Yee Captures the Energy and Edibles of the Brewer’s Plate

Bobolink Dairy and Bakehouse (photo by Albert Yee, used with permission)

Last night restaurateurs, brewers, distillers and merry makers took over the Penn Museum for seventh annual Brewer’s Plate. A fundraiser for Philly’s Fair Food organization, this event was truly one of the most omnivorous evenings that any of us here at Philly Homegrown HQ have experienced in quite some time. We sampled beer, cheese and more lovely cured pork products than one would think possible in a four hour period.

If you really want to see what the Brewer’s Plate is all about, we suggest you head over to the blog Messy and Picky and take a look at the post that local photographer (and Fair Food Farmstand employee) Albert Yee has put together. His images are honest (and delicious) representations of the event and make us all wish we didn’t have to wait another full year to experience it again.
