Winter Market This Saturday at Greensgrow

Don’t miss the Winter Farm Market at Greensgrow this Saturday, January 8. It’s their third winter market of the season and they’ll be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., selling all manner of seasonal, local produce.

Shoppers will find apples, loads of greens (arugula, chard, kale and lettuce), cabbage, potatoes (both white and sweet) and plenty of hardy winter squash.

Additionally, they’ve got a freezer full of chicken sausages, whole chickens, pot pies, pork cutlets and chops, chorizo and mergues sausage, and seitan, as well as dairy, eggs and loaves of freshly baked bread.

Additional vendors present at this market will include Polish Goodness Pierogies and Natural Meadows Farm.

Finally, Greensgrow will also be accepting Christmas trees for recycling during this market. The trees will be chipped and used as mulch, just like what’s being done at Clark Park on the same day.
