Ever dream of brewing your own beer?
To raise money for Philly Beer Week (June 1 – 10), a non-profit organization, Belgian beer experts Vanberg & DeWulf will be raffling off a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Belgium in March 2012. Raffle tickets are being sold at City Tap House and the drawing will be held at Philly Beer Week’s Second Annual Benefit, Wednesday, November 30th.
The lucky winner will select a local Philadelphia brewer and head to Belgium to create a collaboration beer for Philly Beer Week. The beer created will be bottled and distributed throughout Philly, and will debut in June during Philly Beer Week 2012.
And if that’s not enough, Philly Beer Week will also raffle off a PBW Beer-Stravaganza package which includes:
Philly Beer Week is a 10-day celebration of all things beer and is the largest celebration of its kind in America. PBW features hundreds of festivals, dinners, tours, pub crawls, tastings and meet-the-brewer nights. Since its inception, more than 50 other U.S. cities have copied the Philadelphia model and launched their own beer week.
