Weavers Way Co-op

With a storied history in the area, the Weavers Way Food Cooperative is a member-run and operated (though open to the shopping public) grocery that emphasizes local and organic food. Much of the produce, like eggplant, squash and tomatoes, comes from the co-op’s own farm, while other locally produced items like Merrymead Milk, Natural Acres beef, Bitar’s pita and Daisy Organics flour mingle on the shelves.

To further support local foodways, the Co-op sells excess produce from area farms and CSAs and sources its chicken and yogurt from Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative. Three locations—in Mount Airy, Chestnut Hill and Ogontz—make Weavers Way’s conscientious array available to a wide audience.
