Be a part of Victory Beer history and celebrate “Dark Wednesday” in Downingtown on November 23rd!
Victory Brewing Company is releasing just one batch of their highly coveted brew, Dark Intrigue, next week. The celebration, appropriately titled Dark Wednesday, is taking place the morning of Wednesday, November 23rd at Victory’s Downingtown brewery and beer pub.
Dark Intrigue is a bourbon barrel-aged stout flavored with oaky, vanilla tones and spicy aromas. The stout in its original form is Victory’s Storm King, which aged over the summer in former Jim Beam and Heaven Hill Distilleries burbon barrels. Quite intriguing, right? It’s the second release of Dark Intrigue, but it’s also the last–so get it while you can!
Starting at 9AM, Victory will raffle off gear to fans waiting in line for the event’s kickoff, so it’s best to arrive before the doors open at 11:30AM. The beer will be available by the bottle ($15) and by the case ($180), with a one-case-per-person maximum.
