Join the Friends of Schuylkill Banks (FOSB) for a riverfront party along the Schuylkill on Saturday night, September 15.

With the river on one side and the city skyline on the other, the banks are the perfect place to enjoy a late summer evening, when the grueling heat will be replaced by a cool evening breeze.

So save this date: the Schuykill Soiree will take place on Saturday, September 15 from 5-8 p.m. just down the stairs from the Walnut Street Bridge.

The event will include two food trucks — Dapper Dog, Pitruco Pizza — in addition to a surprise dessert, local beer from Victory Brewing Company and local wine from Penns Woods Winery.

Magners Irish Cider and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Dance to live music from local band Delco Nightingale, plus participate in lawn games and other outdoor activities. Want a more relaxing evening? Feel free to bring your own picnic blankets and chairs and enjoy the great casual outdoor vibe.

100% of proceeds from this event will go towards improving the maintenance of the Schuylkill Banks, keeping the riverfront a beautiful place to run, bike and relax.

You can get your tickets online now for an early-bird price of just $35, available through August 15. Children 12 and under are free. After that tickets, go up to $45, then $55. So don’t wait.
