When you get out of work tonight, point yourself in the direction of the Washington Square West Tria location. From 5-7 p.m., Victory Brewing’s Pete Danford will be there pouring glasses of Summer Love Ale and explaining why exactly beer and cheese go so well together.
The cheeses will be favorites from the local scene, including Cherry Grove Farm’s Butter Cup Brie (from Lawrenceville, NJ) and Birchrun Hills Farm’s Fat Cat (from Chester Springs, PA). Alongside the cheeses, you find Urban Apiaries honey. This particularly batch was produced by bees who reside in Philly zip code 19143. That’s the West Philly neighborhood around Clark Park.
