Ever wonder what a chef looks for as they shop for produce or proteins? Well, Sunday’s your lucky day – every Sunday that is, at the Headhouse Farmers Market!
Join Pumpkin head chef Ian Moroney and chef de cuisine Chris Kearse as they lead you through the Headhouse Farmer’s Market, managed by our good friends at the Food Trust. Chefs Ian and Chris will point out the things they look for when shopping for inspiring ingredients at the city’s flagship farmers market.
The chefs will guide you through the market, introduce you to their favorite purveyors and answer any questions you might have about ingredient selection and the cooking process.
Once the Headhouse market has run its seasonal course (usually sometime in November), the chefs will then move on to another Food Trust-run farmers market. The market tours are free, but reservations are highly recommended. To secure your spot call 215.545.4448, space is limited.
