Narberth’s Art of Bread is famed Philadelphia chef, George Perrier’s, newest venture. This boulangerie is traditional in French style. Tastines (open-faced sandwiches), quiches, pastries and cakes are hand-made daily—all with natural ingredients.

Another French delight in Narberth is Le Petit Mitron, a traditional patisserie. Must try’s include the Saint Honoré cake that is filled with caramel cream puffs—a sweet tooth’s bliss. Traditional croissants and treats like chocolate éclairs, among other Parisian bites are sure to satiate your palate.

Narberth is also home to a beautiful bakery called Buy the Dozen. It is a fully kosher bakery that turns out quality Challah, Rugalah, Kamish bread and other assorted baked goods. Perfect for the Hanukkah season.

Take a trip up to Ardmore to visit the Ardmore Market in Suburban Square. Stop by Stoltzfus Bakery of Lancaster County. Stoltzfus has been family-run for over 20 years, and provides the freshest Amish country baked goods this side of the Main Line. Indulge in whoopee pies, hand-rolled soft pretzels, Achenbach pastries and fresh breads.

Also in the Ardmore Market is The Ultimate Bake Shoppe. Nestled in the stands of the market it is a mecca of Italian treats. Be sure to try their hand-made biscotti, made fresh daily.

The Bakery House in Bryn Mawr is sure to bring smiles to the table. Available goodies range from chocolate chip cakes, peanut butter bars, turtle bars, almond croissants and everything in between!

Wayne’s Aux Petits Delices is a French patisserie specializing in pastries, handcrafted chocolates and award-winning wedding cakes. Aux Petits is a recipient of awards such as “The Knot”: Best of Weddings award in 2010 and Best of Main Line Today  in 2010 and 2011.

Berwyn’s Sweet Jazmine’s was recently featured on the Rachael Ray Show. This bakery is full of awards and accolades from the likes of Philadelphia Magazine, the Philly Hot List, Main Line Today and The Knot. Jazmine’s boasts over 45 different cheesecakes, specialty cakes and cupcakes—sure to please any bakery connoisseur. We recommend their line of sweet potato treats including the Cinnfully Southern a sweet potato cake with cinnamon, cream cheese and caramel buttercream.
