The next Food Trust Night Market is quickly approaching — June 28th at Washington Avenue and the Italian Market. And we have some pretty cool news to announce about it.
Quest Loves Food will be headlining the VIP Night Market Experience brought to you by Philly Homegrown and our sister campaign, With Art Philadelphia™. (Quest Loves Food is the food venture from Questlove, drummer extraordinaire for The Roots and culinary gourmand.) What does the Quest Loves Food Pop-up at Night Market mean? Well, for one it means that Quest Loves Food will be in charge of the food and music inside the Night Market’s Pop-Up VIP Tent.
The VIP Tent will not only have food and music curated by Questlove, it will also have unique cocktails from Farmers’ Cabinet featuring local liquors from Philadelphia Distilling as well as bottomless beer from Yards Brewing Company.
Philly Homegrown and With Art Philadelphia™ are teaming up to also outfit the VIP tent with incredible local art.
And, of course, the much-talked-about but harder-to-find “Love’s Drumsticks,” the signature dish of Quest Loves Food, a gourmet piece of Creole-seasoned, buttermilk fried chicken, sourced locally from Lancaster County, will also be available. However, the only place to get the ‘Love’s Drumstick’ is in the Quest Loves Food Pop-Up tent.
VIP tickets are $55 (or a $75 PLUS ticket to support Night Market with an additional donation) and supplies are very limited. Tickets are on sale now online.
An important note: Night Market Washington Avenue will, of course, still be the Night Market you know and love: free admission and pay-as-you-go street eats with a lot of choices less than $5. The Quest Loves Food Pop-Up is a VIP Experience to help fund future Night Markets, a great investment in our opinion!
Stay tuned for more information about this latest Night Market in the weeks to come.
