Otolith Sustainable Seafood

Otolith Sustainable Seafood works directly with small fisheries to source environmental and sustainable seafood like King Salmon, Halibut and King Crabs (pictured above). Photo: Otolith Seafood

Since 2007, Fishtown native Amanda Bossard and husband/co-partner Murat Aritan created Otolith Sustainable Seafood to share their commitment to providing artisanal and wholesome wild seafood to the Philadelphia area.

Otolith has special relationships with small, sustainable fisheries that are dedicated to environmentally sound harvesting. Taking pride in fishing techniques, Otolith sources seafood that was harvested using conventional longline gear, a process that doesn’t harm the ocean environment.

Community Sponsored Seafood (also known as CSS) is designed to provide significant savings to consumers while affording them access to high-quality seafood. CSS members pickup their seafood shares at numerous locations in Center City and on the Main Line.

Check out Otolith’s website for great seafood recipes—including mouthwatering Fish Rolls! Otolith Seafood is available for purchase wholesale, at local farmers’ markets and directly through their CSS program.
