Rachel Klein, chef and owner of Miss Rachel’s Pantry, the vegan special events catering and home meal delivery operation, is expanding her healthy food habits for a wider audience to eat up with the debut of The Dining Room at Miss Rachel’s Pantry.
A Vedge-meets-Talula’s Table concept, Klein’s communal dining table invites guests to appreciate rotating four-course prix-fixe menus every Friday and Saturday beginning June 8 at 7 p.m. with a reservation, as the space seats only 12. Multiple parties can make reservations for the same night as long as there is seating available at the farmhouse-like table.
The meal offered at $45 per person feature two options for each course (gluten-free dishes included) with plates like sweet potato knishes with caramelized onions and crispy sage, Shiitake mushroom dumpling soup, grilled almond-crusted Tempeh with mushroom jus, truffled polenta and greens and an assortment of fair-trade tea and coffee.
The dining room, which is BYOB and welcomes live entertainment, will be available for private dinner events at $65 per person and brunch parties coming in at $45 with a minimum of 10 guests.
And as if this chef’s plate wasn’t already full, Klein is also lending her talents during the day to the realm of cafe sipping and indulging with servings of vegan pastries, ice cream, smoothies, coffee and savory delights offered Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., making Miss Rachel’s Pantry a one-stop kind of shop.
