Fresh Beets Music And Food Festival, A PASA Fudraiser, Hits The Jenkintown Whole Foods Sunday, August 5

Celebrating the best of what Pennsylvania has to offer, the Fresh Beets Music and Food Festival will showcase the wonderful bounty from our great region while also raising funds to support the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA). PASA’s mission is to promote profitable farms that produce healthy food for all people while respecting the natural environment – one of the worthiest causes we can think of.

The day will be filled with live music, a local farmers market, farm animals, mouth-watering food and a children’s sidewalk chalk project. Special guest Christina Pirello, of Christina Cooks, will also be on hand to conduct a healthy cooking demonstration.

Bands include New Kings of Rhythm, The Jeffhouse Band, XXX, Peter Moses, the David Joel Quartet and David & Melissa. The event will be emceed by urban agriculture expert, Nic Esposito, of Philly Rooted.

The festival will run from 2PM to 6PM. Admission is free, however donations to support PASA will be greatly appreciated.
