Dinner and a Show: Albert Yee’s ‘Hands That Feed Us’ Closing Event Tonight

Local photographer Albert Yee’s show, Hands That Feed Us, has been running at Fishtown’s Gravy Studio and Gallery since July 1 (we first mentioned it here). It’s an installation of photos that feature the people, places and animals that make up our local food system and it is at once beautiful, heartening and eye-opening.

This show’s month-long run will be coming to an end tonight and Albert and crew are throwing a little closing party to celebrate. They gallery will be open from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. and folks are invited to head over and bring something to throw on the grill. Look for a garage with folks cooking out in front!
