Demystify Spices For Good Health This Sunday in South Philly

This Sunday, join Shruthi at Philly Community Wellness for an enlightening experience about key spices Ayurvedic chefs use. Ayurvedic cooking is built around the “science of life.” Shruthi, an Ayurvedic chef, will lead the event entitled, “Demystifying Spices,” and hosted by South Philly Food Co-op.

The event is a good introduction to Ayurvedic cooking. Guests will determine their Ayurvedic constitution, learn about the use of essential spices and will receive tips for mindful eating. In addition, different methods of food preparation will be discussed and demonstrated, using seasonal ingredients.

This is a great opportunity to learn about a new style of cooking that incorporates our favorite things: local food and healthy living. RSVP on the event’s Facebook page, or email southphillyfoodcoop.events@gmail.com
