For the second year in a row, you can taste the best burgers in Philadelphia and support a local public school, at the Philadelphia Burger Brawl, set for Sunday, May 6.
22 chefs (up from 17 last year) from leading Philadelphia restaurants will prepare their favorite gourmet burgers. “Philly’s Best Burger” will be selected by celebrity judges including Food Network host Marc Summer.
Tickets are $75 and include tasting of all burgers, one vote for your favorite burger, drinks from Dogfish Head brewery and Jim Beam Devils Cut and desserts.
Once again, all proceeds go towards the building of the Meredith Public Elementary School’s Computer lab.
It’s Philadelphia’s answer to the super popular Food & Wine Festival burger bashes, and it’s awesone.
